Becky's journey....
Hello and welcome to Revier Counseling Services! I am Becky Revier, a licensed mental health therapist in Minnesota.
Like many of you, I experienced family and personal trauma in childhood. Not knowing how to process the trauma led to deep pain, anger, numerous juvenile placements, and aging out of the foster care system. But it wasn't all bad! Along the way, I was introduced to the Christian faith. It was this faith that gave me the strength to face hard emotions and to make better choices.
As a young adult, I was armed with a passion to minister to the community and a GED (General Education Diploma). I began to volunteer in church ministry and enrolled in college. As the first college graduate in my nuclear family, I now hold a bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling Psychology from Liberty University (2012) and a master's degree in social work from the University of Minnesota (2014). I have worked in community mental health throughout my career, and most recently served as the Treatment Director of the Northland MN Adult and Teen Challenge. It is this same passion and purpose that I bring to Revier Counseling Services.

Knowledgeable, kind, and understanding
Becky is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind licensed mental health therapist. This is my second time in therapy; my first experience with a therapist wasn't the most supportive. I was hesitant about whether to seek someone new, but after starting my sessions with Becky, I immediately felt she was going to be a great fit! She is so understanding, and most importantly, I never feel like my feelings are too much or invalid when I talk to her. I'm definitely sticking with her for the long run. I would highly recommend Becky for anyone seeking a therapist, especially for those looking into Christian counseling psychology or first-time therapy clients.
